Men Under 23 Time Trial

This quick and complex Time Trial course will prove a welcome challenge among the cohort of Men Under 23 riders.

With several technical turns and a searing final sprint, the Wollongong city centre will see the future Elite champions arise from the pack during this event.

Format of events

Road Race: The event is a single ‘mass start’ road race, the winner being the first across the line at the completion of the full race distance. This is usually conducted as a circuit race of approximately 15 -25km which may start from another point before entering the circuit

Individual time trial (ITT): An event in which cyclists race alone against the clock on flat or rolling terrain, or up a mountain road. Cyclists start the race at different times so that each start is fair and equal

Team time trial mixed relay (TTT): A road-based bicycle race in which teams of cyclists race against the clock. Cyclists start the race at different times so that each start is fair and equal
